The Celebration.
Dear Lovely, 🌺
September 24th, 2023, 4 pm EST.
“Drop the curtain!” - Someone shouted.
Then the screen turned black.
I leaned against the wall behind and I could still hear the round of loud applause.
We just wrapped up a fantastic two-day online event, filled with dreams and goals, fears and growth, inspiration and motivation, connection and gratitude.
“It is over!“ - Sadness flickered across my face.
After so many months of planning, discussing, organizing, and creating. Together. “Rise Up “ came to an end. My first-ever event on a such large scale went by in the blink of an eye.
“We made it!” - The happiness illuminated my eyes and I jumped from the bench I was sitting on.
It was all worth it! The time and effort, the troubles and worries, the hard work and dedication, the uncertainties in the plan and even the glimpse of hope - everything my friends and I have invested in this project. We poured ourselves into the creation of “Rise Up”.
“It did not go as planned.“ - I said out loud to myself while I was energetically walking back and forth in the room. I couldn’t contain my excitement anymore. - “It turned out better than I have even imagined!”

Thanks to you, who registered for the event. Thanks to you, who joined the FB group. Thanks to you, who joined live. Thanks to you, who participated, shared insights and asked questions. Thanks to you, who got out of your comfort zone and raised your hands. Thanks to you, who watched the replays. Thanks to you, who supported and guided us in this journey. Thanks to you, who co-created this event.
We wouldn’t be able to make it without your help.
I wouldn’t be able to make it without your help. It means the world to me and I truly appreciate YOU! ❤🙏
I can sit here and think about all the things that went wrong. I can think about all the things that could have made this event better. I can think about all the things that we didn’t have. I can think about all the things we forgot to do.
(And I probably will. In the future. When it is time to evaluate and improve the next event.)
But for now, I am planning to celebrate!
I am celebrating that not only we have created something, but we have put it out there so that the whole world can see it.
(Do you know how many great projects do not come to light, because we are too scared of what others will think or say about us? Millions and millions of projects every other minute!)
I am celebrating being a beginner.
(Don’t forget that every master, teacher, expert or successful entrepreneur, was once a beginner. If you learn to be a beginner, the opportunities will come knocking on your door.)
I am celebrating changing lives.
(Someone finally said YES to their dreams. Someone won the battle against their fears and limiting beliefs. Someone connected with their heart for the first time in years. Someone took action and started a new project. Someone said, “Me first.“)
I am celebrating success, creativity, growth, persistence, courage, curiosity, confidence, leadership, mentorship, friendship, compassion and love.
I am celebrating today because everything in this life is worth celebrating!
Grab a glass from your cupboard, Lovely, fill it in with your favorite beverage, and drink to the health of whatever you want!
